Our Veterinary Team
Dr. Victoria Koehler | Director Of Shelter Medicine
Dr. Koehler grew up in New Jersey surrounded by dogs, cats, and horses, sparking her lifelong passion for veterinary medicine from an early age. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology and Psychology from Tufts University in Boston, then went on to complete her veterinary degree at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in Ithaca, New York.
After vet school, Dr. Koehler made her way to sunny South Florida, where she has since built a well-rounded career spanning general practice, community and shelter medicine, and high-volume spay/neuter surgery. She is also certified in canine physical therapy and rehabilitation through the University of Tennessee’s CCRP program.
Her professional passions include shelter medicine, surgery, wound care, and expanding access to veterinary care for underserved communities.
When she’s not in the clinic, you can find Dr. Koehler traveling, hiking, running, paddleboarding, cooking, or snorkeling. She’s on a mission to visit every U.S. National Park—and has explored 33 so far!
Dr. Christine Platt | Veterinarian
