Dolly’s Dream

There are many myths that surround pit bulls and pit bull type dogs at no fault of their own. These dogs are stereotyped, abused, abandoned, neglected, and surrendered every day.  Dolly’s Dream was created to rescue, rehome, and one day help restore the image of all bully breed type dogs. Dolly’s Dream partners with local rescues, shelters and humane societies to fulfill their commitment to these innocent and loving animals.

Every year 6.3 million pets enter the shelter and sadly just over 4 million find a home every year.  Almost 390,000 dogs are euthanized, approximately 40% of whom are Pit Bulls. Pit bull type dogs are killed in the shelter every year solely because of the way they look and due to over overcrowding.

Dolly’s Dream is a lifesaving partnership sponsors select pit bulls at our shelter each year, giving them the spotlight, support, and second chance they deserve.

Every Dolly’s Dream dog comes with a waived adoption fee and a full starter package to help set them (and their adopters) up for success.

Each sponsored adoption includes:

• Collar, leash, and bandana

• A cozy dog bed

• Access to 3 private training sessions

• Up-to-date vaccinations

• A registered microchip
