How to Enroll in Furever Care

Include Furry Friends in Your Will
Working with a legal professional is crucial to ensure your pet’s future is secure. Informal agreements may not hold up in critical situations, so it’s important to have legally binding documents in place. Consider creating a trust or other legal plans that specify your wishes for your pet’s care. This ensures that your pet will be cared for according to your desires, even if unforeseen circumstances arise.
To include your pet in your will, use the following wording: “I give to Furry Friends Humane (Tax ID 59-2111273), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located at 100 Capital St., Jupiter, FL 33458, the sum of _______ dollars (or describe assets). This gift is designated for the guardianship and care of my pet (Pet’s name, species, breed, age). I authorize Furry Friends Humane to place my pet in a suitable adoptive home.”
