Jason Gluck, Chief Executive Officer

A powerhouse media executive turned trailblazing animal welfare leader, Jason’s remarkable journey spans two vastly different industries, each profoundly shaped by his visionary influence.

He played a pivotal role in the development and global launch of Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus, helping propel Miley into international stardom and transforming the franchise into one of Disney’s most successful and award-winning properties. His work with Miley spanned nearly a decade, encompassing some of the most formative and successful years of her career. His contributions have been recognized by The Webby Awards, Popstar!, and The Davey Awards. Jason also discovered pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter during his global talent search, further cementing his reputation for identifying and cultivating breakout stars.

Today, Jason channels that same visionary energy into the world of animal rescue and philanthropy. As the driving force behind Furry Friends, he has led the organization to national prominence, reshaping how animal welfare is approached and inspiring a new generation of leaders.

Jason was recently honored with the Shelter Hero Leadership Award from BISSELL Pet Foundation and PetSmart Charities, a national recognition of the strength, determination, and compassion shown by shelter leaders who consistently go above and beyond for animals in need. He is also one of only a handful of individuals to receive the Animal Farm Foundation Individual Hero Award, recognizing his leadership, innovation, advocacy, and extraordinary commitment to creating a more humane future for animals.
